Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow is making a big donation to two historically-Black colleges.

Harlow and Migos rapper, Quavo, each took home the $500,000 prize in Bleacher Report’s Open Run Showdown. Quavo and Harlow won 21-7 in a two-on-two basketball game against rappers 2Chainz and Lil Baby.

Harlow announced on Twitter on Saturday night that he will donate his winnings to Simmons College of Kentucky and Kentucky State University, which are both historically Black colleges.

Quavo said he’ll donate his money to Clark Atlanta University and Spellman College.

Rev. Dr. Kevin Cosby from Simmons College of Kentucky responded to Harlow’s donation Sunday morning.

“The problem with Simmons and black institutions is not competency, character and capacity, that’s how it has been framed. The challenge for Simmons as well as other black led institutions is cash, connections and consideration. We are grateful for Harlow’s consideration and gift,” Cosby told WAVE 3 News.

Jack Harlow was also announced as an upcoming musical guest on Saturday Night Live. The episode can be seen March 27 on WAVE 3 News and NBC. G | G Salute Jack Harlow and Quavo as well for there donations.
