Since the big announcement that Paul Rosenberg stepped down as CEO of Def Jam last week, there’s an opening at the top of what might be Hip Hop’s most hallowed label.
It looks like 50 Cent has nominated himself for the job.
“I have decided to take the Job at Def Jam. somebody gotta do it, who better then me,” -50 Twitted.
In all actuality it might not be such a bad idea. 50’s days as a rapper are probably over, and he’s shown some real accolades as an entertainment executive.
If nothing else, CEO Fif would use hashtags to promo the hell out of Def Jam’s roster on the gram.
