Fred Hampton, a young, charismatic activist, becomes Chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party — putting him directly in the crosshairs of the government, the FBI, and the Chicago Police. But to destroy the revolution, the authorities are going to need a man on the inside.

Judas and the Black Messiah stars Daniel Kaluuya, LaKeith Stanfield, Jesse Plemons, Dominique Fishback, Ashton Sanders, and Martin Sheen. Directed by Shaka King. Set to hit theaters and streaming outlets on —– 2/12/21.

Not only will we get an amazing film, we also get a great body of music. Fred Hampton was a Chicago representer, so you know the features had to be right a number of artists from the land — Lil Durk, G Herbo, Bump J, BJ The Chicago Kid, Polo G, and Saba. Other big names to make a contribution include Nas, Rakim, H.E.R., and many more. One highlight, however, is certainly JAY-Z’s collab record “What It Feels Like” with the late Nipsey Hussle. Be sure to stream this loud while we live.
