Washington Wizards have offered John Wall (NC) native a four year max extension using the Designated Player Veteran Extension, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.
Since Wall earned All-NBA honors this season, he’s eligible for the “supermax”) which allows him to sign a deal worth 35 percent of the cap for the 2019-20 season. Other teams would only be able to offer Wall 25 percent of the cap if he were to skip the extension and enter free agency in 2019.
