Bronny James is about the 50th-ranked basketball recruit of 2023.

That’s pretty good! To sign a deal Nike when you just turned 18 is even better.

We’re excited to announce the newest student athletes to join our Nike family: Caitlin Clark, Bronny James, Haley Jones, DJ Wagner and Juju Watkins.

Bronny James is one of the most unique high school prospects to hit the recruiting trail in recent memory. He is a four-star prospect, according to both ESPN and 247Sports. Combined with his top-50 status in both publications, he would be well-recruited even without his father’s fame.

Bronny, who has been wearing LeBron’s shoes on the court, is no stranger to Nike. His dad signed with them before he was drafted into the NBA, and released his first signature shoe two decades ago. The company has played a key part in the elder James’ brand, and now it’s Bronny’s turn to sign with Nike as his own career begins.

“For as long as I can remember, Nike’s been a part of my family,” Bronny told Complex Sports.“Getting a chance to team up with them and continue my family’s legacy both on the court and in the community is wild — it really means a lot to me.” LeBron James has also expressed his desire to share the NBA court with Bronny. This desire only adds to the intrigue.

Good Grief  Let it he known you’ve read this news here!
