Lil Yuppy and Nellzo’s duo base mixtape Trump Era gives hope for the current state of hip hop as the two lyrical have a conversational style outlook with their audience on how two young black men must survive the now extremely out of hand Trump debacle. The Lyrics on this body of heat embarks on the reality with the results being a positive outcomes of living to see another day in unknowingly time. The project is filled with emotionally rich jewels almost putting one in the mind of a truly missed group The Clipse. Lil Yuppy’s “ Made It through the week” is filled with a sense of poetic and grandiose inside look on what one might witness trying to finish a week in a Trump controlled shit hole, “very relatable”.
Nellzo also dropped a winning shot with his Survival Of The Fittest , which speaks on the importance of loyalty and the aspect of a stand up man. while listening to the project make sure you checkout a few other jewels such as, Victory lap, Hoody musik, Collection Plate, Money Ain’t Everything; Overall I give this body of work hands down 10 star status great for the ears.
